Hz to Wavelength Converter for Sound, Water, and Electromagnetic Waves
Convert frequency and wavelength by choosing the wave speed first. Same frequency, different medium, different wavelength.

The medium matters
The same frequency can have a tiny electromagnetic wavelength or a human-scale sound wavelength because the wave speed is different. That is why "frequency" by itself is not enough context for a physics claim, a Tesla claim, or a device claim.
Converter FAQ
How do you convert frequency to wavelength?
Divide the wave speed by the frequency: wavelength = speed / frequency. The speed must match the medium.
Why is sound different from electromagnetic waves?
Sound is a mechanical wave whose speed depends on the medium. Electromagnetic waves in vacuum travel at about 299,792,458 meters per second.
Does a frequency value alone prove a Tesla claim?
No. Frequency is a real measurement, but historical and scientific claims still need sources and context.
